The organization of the Longevity World Forum, a pioneer congress worldwide, has confirmed the thematic blocks on which it will focus its second edition, which will take place on November 14 and 15 at the Valencia Conference Center. Specifically, scientific innovation related to greater longevity and quality of life, as well as healthy aging, will be two of the main axes of the meeting in 2019.

On the other hand, the latest research that is currently being carried out in the field of longevity and the socio-economic effects implied by a society with an increasing life expectancy will be the other two issues that will be addressed in both days, when professionals worldwide references of the sectors involved in this matter will meet another year. This will be the case, for example, of Rafael de Cabo, head of the Division of Translational Gerontology of the National Institute of Aging in Baltimore; Manuel Serrano, a doctor and professor who currently works in the ICREA program of the Biomedical Research Institute of Barcelona (IRB Barcelona); or Álvaro Pascual-Leone, professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, among others.

The Longevity World Forum has positioned itself as the meeting point for the world scientific community, as well as for academy and industry agents from different countries, whose work is closely related to the increase in life expectancy and aging healthy. The congress has the backing of the Royal Academy of Medicine along with other public and private institutions in the biosanitary and biotechnology sector. The University of Valencia Science Park Foundation collaborates with the organizing committee in the dissemination of the advances and developments that are disseminated in the congress.
