Introduction and objective

The Astronomical Observatory of the University of Valencia is an institution dedicated to research and education, to the study of the Universe and the social dissemination of astronomy.

Founded in 1909, its main lines of work are the nature of dark energy, the evolution of the Universe and its galaxies, the formation and evolution of stars or near-Earth asteroids.
