Taller: Experiencias en innovación responsable. Una oportunidad para los parques científicos valencianos

The workshop Experiencias en innovación responsable: una oportunidad para los parques científicos valencianos aims to raise awareness of the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) model promoted by the European Union with the aim of technological developments and advances in innovation respond to the needs, expectations and values ​​of society. In this way, innovation and citizenship companies will benefit and enrich each other.

 

CONTENTS

Through dynamic activities, researchers Rosana Sanahuja and Alicia Andrés, responsible for the participation and dialogue project with the society developed in the Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Jaume I University (Espaitec), will address the concept of RRI, explain the keys and opportunities offered for companies and will give an applied vision of the benefits of responsible research based on the results obtained in the project.

In this way, practical examples will be shown. Specifically, Hugo Ferrer, CEO of SemanticBots, a company specialized in the design of conversational platforms, will explain how the RRI actions developed have led the company to rethink its innovation strategy, opening the way to new products more aligned with real needs of some groups. The results achieved by the other three participating companies will also be explained: Cuatroochenta, a mobile application developer and other digital transformation products; Zeus Smart Visual Data, a company that offers solutions that unify massive data sources and plasma in multiple panels to have a complete view of real-time information through dashboards; and Kryptonita Project, specialized in the development of R&D activities in the food sector.

12.20-1.20pm Group dynamics. Reflection on the concept of RRI and possibilities of practical application to companies. By Rosana Sanahuja and Alicia Andrés, researchers from the Unit of Scientific Culture and Innovation of the Communication and Publications Service of the Jaume I University.

1.20-2:00pm Inspiring practices. Experience in the application of the RRI concept by Espaitec companies participating in the project. By Hugo Ferrer, CEO of SemanticBots.
