Introduction

IMEGEN is a laboratory of genetic studies founded in 2009 and formed by around 50 professionals with more than 20 years of experience in genetics and genomics.  The company performs all kinds of analysis, using the most innovative techniques on the market, with a large group of geneticists who advise the patient in the different processes to offer the best genetic diagnosis to the patient and covering all stages of life:  prenatal, childhood and adulthood.

Imegen also has a sub-brand, Imegen Agro, focused on the agri-food sector, with more than 15 years of experience, designing tests based on DNA analysis, in order to guarantee the quality of food products.

Since its creation, the company has opted for technological development and innovation, to put at the service of the patient the best genetic studies that contribute to a guarantee of better quality of life.  It also actively promotes the process of technology transfer, promoting the exploitation of knowledge generated in the academic sphere, as well as the transmission of research results to the clinical laboratory, co-operation with public and private institutions, and it participates in research projects at national and international levels.
