Technical Specifications

Materials that can be developed from POPLAC DEVELOPMENT patented formulations have excellent properties. The enhancement or decrease of these properties can be variable depending on the needs that are required. 

Mechanical

Mechanical properties are the properties of a material related to its ability to transmit and resist forces or deformations.
Products manufactured with the POPLAC DEVELOPMENT formulation can have a compressive capacity of up to 40 MPa (407.88 kg/cm2) and a bending capacity of up to 10 MPa (101.97 kg/cm2).

The resistance to starting (resistance to being torn off the plate. An example would be the resistance of a hanging board to be torn), based on UNE EN 13446 is 7.1 N/mm2 (72.40 kg/cm2)

Thermal

The thermal property of a material is given by its greater or lesser ability to transmit heat or store it.

In this sense, the thermal conductivity of products manufactured with POPLAC DEVELOPMENT formulation is 0.029 W/(m2 K).

Acoustics

The ability of a material to absorb, transmit or reflect sound when sound waves impact against it.

Products manufactured with the POPLAC DEVELOPMENTC formulation (in 4 cm walls) if you provide an external noise of 114-117 Db (within the frequency spectrum between 500-10.000Hz), the resulting internal noise is 62-71 Db.

Fire-resistant

It is the characteristic of a type of construction or material that is resistant to heat and fire. In this case the products manufactured with the formulation of POPLAC DEVELOPMENT have the following flame retardant properties:

-A1 (NOT FUEL),
-S1 (DOES NOT PRODUCE SMOKE),
-D0 (DOES NOT PRODUCE DROPS, PARTICLES)
(does not produce droplets or particles when burned)
