PERSISKIN

Persiskin unwinds a simile vegan leather on animal leather as a possible substitute for synthetic material, but made with more than 75% of plant matter, mainly persimmon variety persisted in the Ribera region in Alta Valencia. 

In addition to production facilities near Valencia, it has its own I+D laboratory in the Science Park of the University of Valencia in Paterna. 

Persiskin is a newly established company (2022) whose main objective is to bring a solution (vegan cure) to the problems (pollution and animal tract) linked with animal leather and PVC, as well as to give a shelf life to the non-commercial harvest of persimmon produced by Valencian farmers.
