Digitalisation is a key tool for companies’ competitiveness in the 21st century. The Spanish Government opts for digitalisation with its Connected Industry 4.0 Strategy, as does the Generalitat Valenciana with its Industry 4.0 Agenda.

The European Union encourages the creation of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH), which combine competences for digitalisation, and places them at the disposal of companies and organisations in general.

The University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV) sets up its DIH by including a wide range of services for digital innovation, which it does by resorting to the technological competences of 15 companies and two UV institutes. The PCUV also reinforces actions targeted to information, awareness and training in this area. The financing offered by public support lines and the agreements signed with private financing institutions complete a network capable of accompanying and promoting Valencian companies towards the digital innovation of their products, services and processes.
